Batiquitos Lagoon

The Batiquitos Lagoon is in north San Diego County. It is one of the few remaining tidal wetlands on the southern coast of the United States. Located between Carlsbad and Encinitas, the lagoon is managed as a wildlife preserve by the California Department of Fish and Game. This lagoon is home to several protected nesting areas. 
There is a 3.5 mile (easy to walk) sandy trail along the lagoon.

They offer a huge variety of classes and times, the instructors are supportive and the location can't be beat.The main studio is located at 830 S Coast Highway 101, and the Yoga Tropics West studio is  at 965 Second St. Encinitas, California.
